Frequently asked questions

Drop the PDF into the upload area, choose JPG, PNG or WebP and a resolution, then press Convert. Every page becomes its own file: download the ones you need from the previews, or all of them with Download ZIP.
The PDF is processed on App-Kit servers by our conversion service. The original PDF is deleted right after rendering and the images as soon as your browser has received them — in any case within 15 minutes. Your IP address is not passed to the conversion service.
One PDF of up to 25 MB and 20 pages at a time, and up to 10 conversions per hour from one address. Split longer documents in any PDF editor first.
Most likely you picked 96 dpi or JPG. For pages with small print, tables or drawings, choose PNG at 300 dpi and letters stay sharp even when you zoom in.
No, the service cannot open an encrypted file. Remove the password in the app you use to open the PDF, save a copy and upload that.
